In February 2021, we trapped and tagged with an Iridium/GPS collar an Amazonian tapir in Yasuní National Park, within the territory of the Huaorani Baihuaeri People, Ecuador. For the first time we were able to capture and tag this species with a satellite collar that includes a digital camera in our country.
